Bill WaltonBill Walton brings over 18 years of experience as a sales trainer and executive coach to his clients. He has worked extensively in the Professional Services, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, and Consumer Packaged Goods industries. Bill has particular coaching and training expertise in Sales Process Development and Closing Techniques. His clients include Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, MTV, Bank of America, AvisBudget Auto Group and Prudential to name a few.

Prior to launching his consulting career, Bill worked with Intro Inc., a new business consultancy that provides strategy consulting to early-stage companies. While there, he built entire human resource infrastructures for clients and coached CEOs and their teams to build long term relationships with customers. Prior to Intro Inc., Bill was a Senior Vice President with Manchester Inc., a leader in Executive Coaching and Career Transition. At Manchester, Bill specialized in coaching senior-level executives to effectively assimilate into new organizations and assess the future leadership capability of their teams.

Previously, Bill worked for the Forum Corporation, a leading training and consulting organization serving Fortune 500 companies. While with Forum, he specialized in such content areas as Consultative Selling, Strategic Account Management and Customer Loyalty. He was also a member of the Merck & Co., Inc. faculty that delivered coaching to their senior leadership team. His clients included Formosa Plastics USA, Unilever, and Stanley Tools.

Bill’s background also includes 10 years in the Consumer Products industry as a line manager and training specialist. As the Sales Promotion Manager for Tambrands, Bill trained the domestic and international sales forces of the world’s leading feminine hygiene brand. Bill also enjoyed several years at Nestle Foods where he was recognized for leading high performing sales teams.

Bill is a featured guest on CNNfn and is an adjunct professor at the New York University School of Continuing Education. He is a featured contributor to Human Resource Executive Magazine and an active member in The American Society for Training and Development, the National Association of Business Coaches, and The Society for Human Resource Management. Bill also sits on the board of SellMasters, a sales performance think tank.

Bill graduated magna cum laude from Connecticut State University with a degree in Business Administration and received a Masters in Human Resource Education from Fordham University.
